A meticulous recreation of a historic icon, it features a satin nitrocellulose lacquer in a stripped-back natural finish, currently showing light, authentic surface checking. To perfectly replicate Lennon’s exact modifications, the builders first installed and removed original style tuners, leaving the historically correct empty screw holes fully exposed.
Tonally, it delivers phenomenal acoustic resonance before you even touch an amplifier. The foundation relies on a fully hollow, five-ply maple and birch body supported by spruce bracing. When plugged in, a pair of Gibson USA P90 pickups translate that airy acoustic footprint into highly dynamic electric tones, providing an incredibly articulate, mid-range growl that responds beautifully to your picking dynamics.
