Sonically, this instrument is powered by a highly coveted set of pickups handwound by Josefina Campos. Bridging a '69 Strat neck pickup and a Fat '50s middle pickup with the aggressive bite of a Texas Special in the bridge, this bespoke configuration covers massive tonal ground. Routed through Vintage Modified #2 wiring, it delivers everything from glassy, scooped neck tones to thick, roaring lead voices with absolute clarity.
The playing experience is anchored by a supremely comfortable 60 Style Oval "C" maple neck. Stripped of finish on the back for a smooth, frictionless feel, it is topped with a premium AAA rosewood fingerboard sorted for a beautifully dark grain.
