Alnico 3 Single Coil

Neck: A fatter, warmer pickup than the 2250’s with more low mids and a lower treble peak. A rounder, chunkier sound with punchier mids. Alnico 3 magnets have a different midrange characterized than the 2’s or 5’s. A little more attack, a little more spank and a little more power.

Middle: Has the same qualities as the neck but reverse wound and with reverse polarity for hum canceling in switch positions 2 and 4. A little more attack, a little more spank and a little more power.

Bridge: Has the same qualities as the neck with has a few hundred extra turns of wire. A little more attack, a little more spank and a little more power.

Neck: Alnico 3 magnets, counter clockwise winding direction on neck and bridge pickups, clockwise winding direction on middle pickups, north pole top on middle pickups, south pole top on neck and bridge. dc specs 6.75 +/-
